New Pediatrician Delivering Care in Vallejo

Board-certified Pediatrician Gayatri Mahajan, M.D., has joined Solano Regional Medical Group, the multispecialty medical group affiliated with Sutter Medical Foundation. Dr. Mahajan sees patients in Sutter’s Pediatric Department in Vallejo.

Dr. Mahajan received her medical degree from the University of Madras in India. She completed a residency in pediatrics at New York University-Bellevue Hospital and has been practicing pediatrics for over 15 years in New York. Prior to joining Sutter, Dr. Mahajan worked as a pediatrician at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Syracuse, NY. She was also on staff at the University Hospital, Syracuse and Crouse Hospital, Syracuse, where she was responsible for inpatient as well as newborn nursery care.

Dr. Mahajan has a keen interest in childhood and adolescent mental health, and would like to work closely with services in the community to provide care for children with special needs.
