Issue: March 2010
Saint Francis Memorial Hospital, Sequoia Hospital and St. Mary’s Medical Center announced the distribution of $267,704 in community grants to 17 local agencies in San Francisco and San Mateo Counties. The grants of $5,000 to $25,000, will affect health issues ranging from mental illness to chronic disease management and support community-based programs that provide services from birth to end-of-life. This year’s recipient’s organizations reach out to local ethnic communities and provide services to multiple generations from infants to the elderly.
