Doctors Medical Center Names New Chief Financial Officer

The Governing Board of Doctors Medical Center (DMC) has appointed Richard S. Reid, CPA, CHFP, MPA, to the role of chief financial officer (CFO). At DMC, Mr. Reid will be responsible for all financial operations, goals and strategies at the hospital.

Mr. Reid brings more than twenty years of healthcare financial management experience to the position. Most recently, Mr. Reid served as chief financial officer St. Mary's of Michigan Health Care in Saginaw, MI.

"I am excited to have such an experienced financial administrator join our team," said Joseph A. Stewart, president and chief executive officer. "His success at revenue and expense oversight will be a substantial asset to DMC at a time when we are focused on patient care, growth and strengthening the hospital's position as a provider of quality healthcare in the community."
