Hospice of the East Bay Selects New CEO

Cynthia A. Hatton, R.N., M.S.N., has been selected as the CEO of Hospice of the East Bay. Hatton’s career in healthcare management has spanned over 28 years. She most recently served as Administrator of Central Coast VNA & Hospice, Monterey County’s largest home care provider.  Hatton has been recognized at both national and state levels for her expert knowledge of home health and hospice operations and regulations.  She is an active participant in the California Hospice and Palliative Care Association (CHAPCA) and has served as a member of the board of the California Association for Health Services at Home (CAHSAH) where she received CAHSAH’s Lois Lillick Award for her contributions to the hospice and home health industry. For the past two years Hatton has also worked closely with Children’s Hospice and Palliative Care Coalition of California to successfully establish a pilot Medical waiver program for children with terminal illnesses.
